Expo Congress Hotel opens for Formula One race

According to the original plans, on 24th July, 2009 the four star Expo Congress Hotel opened to the public as the newest member of Mellow Mood Group. The first guests of the 4-star hotel had come to see the Formula 1 Budapest Grand Prix, and were welcomed with a gratis breakfast due to their early check-in. The four star Expo Congress Hotel provides 160 rooms on 10 levels, featuring the latest trends in both design and hotel facilities.
Thanks to the hotel’s favourable location and its surroundings Expo Congress Hotel is a perfect venue for conferences, congresses, conventions, meetings, or other social events. The 3 multifunctional conference rooms, including two dividable rooms have a capacity of up to 250 attendees, and are equipped with the most modern technology. Wireless Internet is accessible in all areas of the hotel and 2 Business Corners enrich the list of the conference facilities. A specialty of the hotel is the 12th floor, where during the evenings the Panorama Bar offers great opportunity for recreation with its unique panoramic view. More than 4000 participants on the 28th International Epilepsy Congress

Between the 28th June and 2nd July, the Hungexpo Budapest Fair Center hosted the 28th International Epilepsy Congress. 2009 is a very important year for the organisation, as it celebrates its centenary. More than 4000 attendees participated on the Congress, from more than 70 countries. The participants and the organisers were very satisfied with both the venue and the city.
The Hungarian Convention Bureau (HCB) helped in the organization of site inspections before the Congress, and offered tourist information during the whole event. The visitors were mostly interested in the cultural sights and programs of the city. The closing program of the Congress was the gala dinner in the Hungarian National Gallery.

Hotel President: luxurious boutique hotel and lookout tower in one

Hotel President, the newest downtown boutique hotel of Budapest, will open its doors for the guests on the 20th August. The hotel features 110 rooms, a presidential suit with high safety installations, heliport, and has a beautiful panorama. The hotel is constructed from the Hotel Hold, that was in operation in the same building for 8 years beforehand.  The building, situated 300 meters from the Parliament has eleven floors, and its heliport makes it possible for the international guests to approach the hotel from the airport quickly and safely.
The hotel will have two conference rooms for 100 guests, and one with a capacity of 200 persons. The on-line reservation system of the hotel is already in use.
